Professional Background

Ron Driscoll brings over three decades of professional experience to Driscoll & Associates, combining 32 years of distinguished service in sworn law enforcement with additional years as a background investigator and Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) Examiner in the private sector.

Mr. Driscoll is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy (Session #271), an invitation-only professional development program for law enforcement leaders. This elite training, combined with his Master of Arts in Management from the University of Redlands and Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, provides him with exceptional leadership capabilities and investigative expertise.

Throughout his extensive law enforcement career, Mr. Driscoll demonstrated exceptional leadership and investigative expertise across multiple specialized roles:

  • Lieutenant, Patrol Operations Commander - Murrieta Police Department

    Directed patrol operations and investigative teams of 50+ personnel, managed Field Training Program, Traffic Division, K-9 Unit, Special Events, Reserve Officer Program, and Parole/Probation Compliance Team

  • Lieutenant, Investigations Commander - Murrieta Police Department

    Managed Support Division including Detectives, Special Enforcement Team, Crime Analysts, Property & Evidence, Juvenile Investigations, Crime Prevention, and Task Force positions. Commanded Detective Bureau through high-profile investigations including homicides, officer-involved shootings, and politically charged cases. Directed and personally conducted internal affairs and administrative investigations.

  • Sergeant, Administrative, Patrol Operations, Gang Task Force Commander - Murrieta Police Department

    Served as Administrative Sergeant responsible for all department training, personnel investigations, internal affairs matters, and Code Enforcement. Supervised Field Training Program, K-9 Program, Special Events, and served as President of the Murrieta Police Officers' Association.

  • Detective / Corporal / Police Officer - Murrieta Police Department

    Conducted comprehensive criminal investigations, served as Field Training Officer, and delivered crime prevention programs. Assigned to RAID Task Force and Special Enforcement Team.

  • Police Officer - Upland Police Department

    Eight years of patrol and Field Training Officer experience, assigned to Community Oriented Policing Team (COPS).

Mr. Driscoll honorably retired from the Murrieta Police Department in 2021 after 32 years of dedicated service and subsequently founded Driscoll & Associates, LLC to provide specialized investigative services to law enforcement agencies throughout Southern California.

Current Role

As Principal and Licensed Qualified Manager, Mr. Driscoll serves as the senior lead investigator while overseeing all investigative operations for Driscoll & Associates. He ensures each investigation complies with legal standards and meets requirements established by both POST and client specifications.

Our Investigative Team

Driscoll & Associates employs carefully selected investigators who bring proven law enforcement experience and investigative expertise. Additionally, we have established a network of approximately ten experienced retired law enforcement professionals, most of whom held the rank of sergeant or above, who are available to support expanded operations as client needs grow.
